Mythfits Website Privacy Notice

This notice explains what the Mythfits website (mythfits.net) collects, why, and the choices you have. The site is run by Playded Games ("we", "us"). This notice covers only the mythfits.net website. The game itself has its own privacy information where you play it.

1. The short version

• We count visits with cookieless analytics that do not identify you. Optional cookies, which recognise you on a return visit and help measure our marketing, only run if you accept them in the cookie banner.
• If you join the launch list, we keep your email address to tell you when Mythfits and new Playded games launch. Nothing else, and you can leave at any time.
• We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising on other sites.

2. What we collect

Your cookie choice. We store whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we do not ask again on every page. This is essential and is kept in your browser.

Cookieless visit statistics. Pages viewed, clicks on buttons and links, how you arrived (for example a search or a link), your device and browser type and your approximate location (country or region, worked out from your IP address). This uses no cookies and no ID stored on your device, and is not used to identify you.

Optional cookies, only if you accept them. A random visitor ID stored in your browser, so return visits can be linked, and information about which campaign or link brought you, so we can measure our marketing. If you reject them, none of this is stored.

The launch list, only if you join it. When you enter your email address in the launch list popup, we keep that address, the page you joined from and the date. We use it only to email you about launches of Mythfits and new Playded games.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• Cookieless visit statistics: to see which pages and games people care about and keep the site working. Basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, kept minimal and not used to identify you.
• Optional cookies: to recognise return visits and measure our marketing. Basis: your consent.
• The launch list: to send you the launch emails you asked for. Basis: your consent.
• Your cookie choice and basic security logs: to run the site safely and remember your choice. Basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site.

4. Who helps us

• Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and protects it from attacks.
• Filigree (fyligree.com) runs our consent banner, analytics and the launch list, and stores launch list sign ups for us.

They act on our instructions and may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under standard contractual safeguards. We share information with anyone else only when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Launch list addresses stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Analytics are kept only as long as they are useful for understanding how the site is used, and no longer than 13 months, after which they are deleted or made anonymous.

6. Your choices and rights

• Change your cookie choice at any time through the cookie settings link the banner leaves on the page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
• Leave the launch list with the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to us.
• Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
• You can complain to your data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK, your local authority in the EU, or the Information Regulator in South Africa.

7. Children

The launch list is not meant for anyone under 16. If you are under 16, please do not sign up. If we learn a child has joined, we remove the address.

8. Changes

We may update this notice. The effective date above shows the latest version, and for significant changes we will say so on the site.
